The 1970s were a fantastic time for movies, with a whole array of stars and directors quickly becoming household names. The '70s gave us the magnificent directorial works of the highly talented Martin Scorsese, who brought us Taxi Driver, Mean Streets and New York, New York. 

George Lucas who contributed to the decade with the phenomenal Star Wars, THX 1138 and American Graffiti. Francis Ford Coppola, who directed The Godfather and The Godfather Part 2, along with The Conversation and Apocalypse Now, and of course the legend that is Steven Spielberg, who gave us Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and 1941.
